The 17th Erith Riverside Festival was a great success this year with its array of thrilling arena events and entertainment for all the family, and Erith Riverside Shopping Center was delighted to be one of the sponsors of this fantastic event.

Organised by a committee of local people, the Festival was jam-packed with stalls and shows run by various community groups from Erith.

Amongst the entertainment were two historical re-enactment groups, Temesvikings and the Bonivant Household, proudly sponsored by Erith Riverside Shopping Centre, which were well received by the festival goers.

Show stopping displays came from a group of dancers from Erith's Russian school and members of the Rabble Morris Dancers, who wowed crowds with their high-energy performance, and CR8, a modern dance troupe who really helped to get the crowd going.

And it didn't stop there! Crowds were bedazzled by Erith's Europa Gym club and baton twirlers, Riverside Reflections and Abbeywood Twirlers, who all performed routines involving high levels of skill.

All in all, the Festival was a great day out for the whole family. The weather managed to hold off for the entire day, which added to the festivals success.
